Erasmus+ – EcoChallenge: Youth for Sustainable Future | Bansko
I participated in the “EcoChallenge – Youth for Sustainable Future” project held in Bansko as the Turkish team leader. The project focused on sustainability, environmental responsibility, and raising awareness among young people about global environmental challenges.
Through workshops, group work, and interactive activities, we developed eco-friendly solutions. Together with young people from different countries, we generated ideas and experienced meaningful cultural exchange.
In this project, I was not only a participant but also took on an active role. I had the opportunity to present the Turkish night; sharing our culture, music, and energy was truly enjoyable. Additionally, I stepped in for the facilitator in some sessions and led several workshops. It was a serious responsibility for me, but it also gave me significant confidence.
Being a team leader meant not only representing the group but also managing challenging moments, maintaining motivation, and ensuring everyone was included in the process. This project in Bansko contributed greatly to both my environmental awareness and leadership skills.
